I'm wondering if I should buy the Nexus 7 (which was released a couple of months ago) or wait for the iPad mini. Considering the baseline iPod touch 5G costs 300$, I really doubt Apple is really going to release an iPad mini under that price point. But, who knows!

So... is it right to buy the Nexus 7, or is a new one coming soon? I know a new Nexus phone is coming, so it made me wonder if a new Nexus tablet will come out soon.

the nexus 7 is a decent tablet for the price. it is currently one of the fastest tablets (even compared to many $500 tablets), the display quality is also good (though 7 inches may be a bit too small for some people)

The front facing camera does 720p video which is useful for video chatting(if you do it, unlocking the 720p mod requires you to install a patch using something like clockwork mod)

overall it is a good tablet, and best of all, it can be overclocked for even more performance.

I've been an iOS user for years, but bought the Nexus 7 2 weeks ago. Have to say, I'm enjoying the experience and the tablet really lives up to the expectations you have. And the $200 price point can't be beat...

For the price point, the experience beats an iPad. I am loving my nexus 7. I'm using it right now. I'd say if you are looking for a small budget tablet, nexus is the best.
