If Google were to make a mobile phone based on Chrome OS that ran Android apps: 1) Would you like it? 2) Do you feel that this could solve some of the patent issues?

I think that would be a bad idea. Chrome OS on a cell phone will be a data hog because all the data and programs has to come from the web. That also means your battery will be dead in no time.

Maybe not Chrome OS as it is today. It would definitely have to be tweaked and modified. For example, you could base messaging and talk via Google voice. But yes, you are correct, as it is constituted today, it probably would not work, it would be a lot of fun to see them try though
