Hello, i was updating my drivers for my graphics card because i havent updated them since i got my laptop and thats about 2 years ago, so i downloaded the correct drivers for my card wich is a Geforce G 103M. While installing them my screen suddenly turned black and i waited about 30 minutes and still nothing happend so i turned off my laptop and turned it back on, after the windows loading bar the screen turned black and again it wouldnt go away so i went into safe mode and used driver sweeper to delete my drivers. I download a few older drivers and tried installing those, both of them did the same thing, give me a black screen. when i used driver sweeper the laptop had to reboot after and windows would start normal like i said, as soon as i install the new drivers and after the reboot the screen is black again Can anybody help me out as soon as possible? i need this laptop for college tommorow since i study programming.
My specs are: CPU: Intel Pentium dual core T3400 RAM: 3gb GPU: GeForce G 103M

boot into safemode then use system restore to goto before the driver update.
(one common issue with laptops is that drivers are more customized to the laptop thus making it harder to get driver updates. (you will generally end up with a laptop that will only accept drivers from the laptop manufacture website (and they tend to stop releasing updates after a year or so)

Rasor is right in some cases they stop making updates from the manufacturer of the laptop them selves. But what I have also seen as well. is that some manufacturers use known chip sets from other manufacturer like for their networking cards as an example. Or in your case video card for your laptop. Have you tried going to the video card manufacturer that makes your geoforce G 103M. If I am not mistaken it sounds like a Nvidia video cards. Is the laptop a a Asus laptop or something similar like a Toshiba, Sony Viao.
I've dealt with a couple of laptops that were having problems with a intel wireless or wired networking card. And it seemed to get fixed when we went to manufacturer of the networking card instead of the manufacturer of the actual laptop itself. But that has been my experience with that as well.

Razor512, i did a system restore to before i updated my graphics drivers and i still get a black screen, im sorry i didnt answer before but it was 2am so i wanted to sleep. I tried a systemrestore and i get the black screen again, and Compucore, i have Compaq laptop and the G 103M is indeed an nvidia card, the laptop isnt that old yet i got it about 2 years ago.
