How long do you think it will take to update to iOS 6 on my iPhone 3GS?

I have, like, 80 apps on my phone and over 500 songs. I am wondering how long it might take to update my iPhone 3GS to iOS 6? Also, will iOS 6 work on the iPad 1?

The time is takes to update really depends on your internet connection. For me it took about 20-30 minutes with about 5mb/s download.

iOS 6 will not work on the iPad 1. http://www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/

I know I am not suppose to talk about this on this site but how can I get iOS 6 on my iPad 1? I know it can't run it but how can I get it with my iPad 1

You can't.. It can't run it and you can't put it on it. There's no way around it.

Download for me was a couple of minutes, update itself was about 20 minutes... All on a 4s
