How can i access my personal home Filezilla ftp server when i am not connected to my home network? |

You have to make sure your router is forwarding incoming connections for FTP (usually TCP ports 20 and 21) to your computer on your local network and make sure to allow incoming connections to those ports on your hosting computer's firewall as well. This will make your computer and your network insecure if you do this, just FYI with the port forwarding. Though, that's the chance he'll have to take. Yeah, I guess. Just had to inform 'em, lmao. lol, you should have posted a warning image. Love the picture :') But obviously various companies use ftp. Surely they wouldn't make their network insecure? I understand forwarding ports can make my network insecure but how could i do this without compromising my networks security?
