Can you guys help me how to clean a laptop fan? My laptop is Sony T series, SVT13112FXS It would be helpful if you give me an advice on this product based on cleaning a laptop fan. I have no clue how to do it |

Just open up the ol' thing and take a lightly damp paper towel and wipe it! That's what I do. |

Dependig on the laptop and if it can be opened up for the CPU fane. Or what I usually would do to clean the fan and the fins. I would go the route of using my oilless aircompressor and blow it by the vents or where the air entry would be that would be on the top where the fan and fins sits ontop of the cpu. Or one of those cans of compressed air can also help if you are in a pinch. |

Normally a can or two of compressed air will do the trick. If you feel comfortable opening up your laptop then you can really clean it out that way by using some paper towels and electronics cleaner. DO NOT use a vacuum cleaner. I actually wrote an article about this not too long ago. You can check it out here if you like. I disagree with this this... a can of air will blow the dust further into the laptop, not remove it, it can cause more clogs and prevent the air from flowing properly to all the parts |
