Can I transfer files from an iPad to my computer through iTunes?

I need to transfer some videos from my iPad to my computer. I have installed iTunes, but I don't know how to do it. This may be a stupid question. Sorry. I bought the new iPad several days ago and I really know little about iTunes. Help, please.

Depends what kind of videos - if they were purchased on your iPad from the iTunes store, you can transfer them by connecting your iPad to your computer, running iTunes and selecting "Transfer purchases" from the device tab.

If the videos were downloaded somewhere else, you can transfer them from your iPad to your iTunes on your computer using a third-party tool such as copytrans.
