I recently received a R.A.T. 5 mouse and when I plug it in it works fine until I click -_-. I'm clicking left click but it acts as if I'm right clicking. My other mice work fine. Help? |

What operating system are you using on the computer. What you might need to do is go into the control panel there and click on the mouse icon which if I remember seeing in windows XP version.. And switch it from a left handed mouse to a right hand mouse. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate. I thought that at first but that would only switch the functions of the right and left clicks. On my mouse, the left functions as right and the right doesnt function at all which is what I'm confused about Have you tried going to Cyborg web site and download the drivers which might be a help to it since it is a programmable mouse that you have there. (Not a 100% sure there.) But it might help in getting it fixed as well. I tried installing new drivers and that doesnt seem to fix the problem either. Could it be possible I have been given a defective mouse? Did you purchase the mouse at a local store nearby where you live by any chance? if you did try returning it back to the store for an exchange for the same model. Or at least an equivalent one. It might be a defective mouse. It is hard to tell. |
