So I designed a website, and gave the PSD to my friend to code. I take a look at the progress on his screen (He's sat next to me) and I notice the blue background is totally different on his screen.

The hex code is #00ccff, on my screen it's a light blue, but on his screen its Cyan. We're both using RGB, we both have the exact same colour settings set in Photoshop, I'm using Mac, hes using Windows.

I thought it was just the screens calibration, but the only problem is now that I have no idea what it looks like on everyone else's screens. I'm sure my calibration was correct, just to be sure I printed off a colour chart and made sure my colours were right and they were, so maybe its just his screen.

Any idea's?

I have three different monitor's in use on three identical types of PC, all three monitors show different hues of colour, I would not worry about this issue if I was you.

It should be fine if it looked ok printed. My first guess would have been different monitor color profiles but you said the color settings were the same. I'm not aware of any cross platform issues. The issue may not be on your end.

Possibly a Driver issue.
