You obviously don't need the money.

Find your local soup kitchen. Go down & VOLUNTEER to serve breakfast or lunch. Hand out $20 to each person until the money is gone.

I'km all for helping people but there is a line I cross, well then again I've never really had that much money in one place, where I've already given so much away and don't want to save it.

You could do car upgrades, or hell renovate your house. According to your profile you're 40. You could change your whole house with a trip to Home Depot.

lol yea im under 18. so new recomendation???

(Oct 02 '12 at 17:15) sebastianq28 sebastianq28's gravatar image

Ouch. Might want to change that age on your profile, wouldn't hurt to do it. Well, if you don't want to spend it on a phone, clothes, etc give some to a charity. At least you're helping some people in the process. Other than that, save it in the bank. I hear Bank of America has good interest.

(Oct 02 '12 at 17:18) DJ Scooby Doo DJ%20Scooby%20Doo's gravatar image

just did. haha and I already did donate half! this is what i have left for me. and the reason i want to spend it now instead of saving is i just want the satisfaction of having a cool new product lol. nothing?

How about getting a phablet like the Galaxy Note II?

(Oct 02 '12 at 18:04) DJ Scooby Doo DJ%20Scooby%20Doo's gravatar image

i was honestly considering this option... the only thing holding me back is the plans... do you know of any good 1 person plans that give me unlimited talk & text and plenty of fullspead data? like 3 or more gb?

(Oct 02 '12 at 18:14) sebastianq28 sebastianq28's gravatar image

T-Mobile's unlimited 4G plan with no caps for $90. http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/plans/individual-plans.aspx

Other than that you have MNVO's on T-Mobile and AT&T like Simple Mobile and Straight Talk. They are unlimited, however they do have a soft cap of 2GB-4GB. Soft cap as in they'll throttle your speeds, but you're still free to access the internet as normal.

However if you're looking on the CDMA side, Verizon is the way to go. Full LTE speeds, but not unlimited. Sprint is unlimited but their speeds are just... EDGE speeds. Not very fast, but if you're good with slower speeds, and you absolutely need unlimited data go for it.

i tries simple and straight talk... they throtlle like CRAZY i called in they said the 1st 500 mb are 4g the rest is Edge...... .___.

Whoa, whoa whoa. My parents have Straight Talk/Simple and their speeds aren't limited.

Prepaid huh? Well T-Mobile also has a prepaid option for $50, unlimited talk text and web (100MB of 4G). If you're looking to forgo the unlimited talk, T-Mobile has this online only sale for unlimited web (5GB of full 4G), and text for $30. http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/plans/individual-plans.aspx

You must have the wrong info bro. They don't limit it as long as it's for a phone and not a tablet.

wait so what does straight talk offer? can u link me to the plans?

(Oct 02 '12 at 20:07) sebastianq28 sebastianq28's gravatar image

http://www.mysimplemobile.com/Simple-Mobile-Plan.aspx

The plans in question or either the 3G plan for $40 or the 4G plan for $50.

(Oct 02 '12 at 20:31) DJ Scooby Doo DJ%20Scooby%20Doo's gravatar image

noooo i meant the straight talk. I dont understand there plan system

(Oct 02 '12 at 20:38) sebastianq28 sebastianq28's gravatar image

Ohhh. Okay. http://www.straighttalksim.com/shop.php

Well their plan system depends on your carrier. If you pick AT&T or T-Mobile you're on the $45 dollar plan. You can't bring BlackBerries in, because there are no BIS servers on their networks (MNVO).

i would like Tmobile, but like, How does data work? speeds? caps? soft caps?

(Oct 03 '12 at 15:45) sebastianq28 sebastianq28's gravatar image

The $30 T-Mobile plna gives you 4G speeds until you hit a 5GB soft cap. Soft cap means your data is unlimited but your speeds will be throttled when you hit that number. 5GB of full speed HSPA+, unlimited texting shit. I might as well switch there, as I dont talk much.

(Oct 03 '12 at 16:15) DJ Scooby Doo DJ%20Scooby%20Doo's gravatar image

wowowowowowo so 5GB soft cap Unlimited texting how much talk?

and is this with t mobile or straight talk and any contract? and link me this seems amazing!!!!

If I were you, I would save it. But you don't want to save it. You could buy a nice computer, you can buil your own computer. You can get video games, or if you are interested, you can buy some cool gadgets like a Mindstorm robot. That is something I would like to buy to tinker around with. You can buy yourself a Tablet. I really like tablets.

Or you can save it to buy Google Glass when it hits next year. Or buy a Windows 8 computer. I suggest making a list of all the different things you can do with that money. Through a dart at the list and BINGO.

Why do you have to waste it right now, that's very stupid to blow $1,000 on something brand new if you already have a good working computer and cell phone, and if you have a cell phone use the money to pay for your plan? Jeez, just don't spend it on one thing if you are so incapable of saving it, or spend it on a new PC, that you build if your current one isn't that fast.

Save it, or depending on where you live, use it to get a license and a gun if you do not already have one to protect the home. Remember in a life or death situation where seconds count, the police are minutes away, if you don't know what to get and don't want to save, then get something that will increase the safety of your home remember guns don't really expire so it is a worthwhile investment as you never know when it will serve to protect you.

Save up for a car!

(Oct 04 '12 at 20:46) DJ Scooby Doo DJ%20Scooby%20Doo's gravatar image

yep in that case the I agree, save up for a car, you can start off with a cheap one ((when going low cost, if you have any android device then get your self a elm 27 (obd II scanner) then connect it to the car and check all of the sensors, then test drive it while using the scanner to record the engine, then look at the fuel flow rate and MPG, and also engine load, this is a good indicate of how well the engine was taken care of, if the person who originally had it did very little maintenance (eg those people who when they start their car, it makes a loud endless screech (and for some reason they don't seem to notice it) then those engines will offer far less horse power and far worst fuel economy)

(Oct 04 '12 at 22:42) Razor512 Razor512's gravatar image

I'd recommend a Honda Accord or a Toyota Corolla from 98 and above. They're cheap and they work great!

(Oct 04 '12 at 23:37) DJ Scooby Doo DJ%20Scooby%20Doo's gravatar image

I would recommend investing it.
