What do you guys think of the T-Mobile/MetroPCS merger?

My opinion as a T-Mobile customer since 2003, that it's great! The only problem is, I don't want T-Mobile's reputation to go down as a result. MetroPCS has a reputation for low prices and ehh service. T-Mobile is the same but with higher service for the paying customers. I dont want them to lose that at all. I had Metro for a couple of months and I ran back to T-Mobile. What do you guys think?

I think it is bad because metropcs was one of the only major provider that charged less than t-mobile, this means that there is not much keeping t-mobile from bringing their prices closer to that of verizon and at&t

Well T-Mobile and Metro charged the same if you go to the Monthly4G route. The only good thing I see of this is that Metro has the spectrum we need for a 1900mhz deployment. This means 3G will work on iPhones and unlocked phones only receiving basic EDGE right now.

I also had metro to save some money my friend had gave me a metro but it fell and broke it was a wildfire it was kinda difficult for me and broke fast . Im going back to my blackberry I don't care that people are more into 4g or touch screens I love my 9700 blackberry I dropped it lots of times and it still works great. one thing that I didn't like it that before tmobile let you pay in 3 payment for a phone they don't have that option any longer. Im still on the fence about the merger.
