Can I jailbreak an inactive iPhone 3GS that has no service?

Is this possible? I really want to proceed with jailbreaking.

Yes you can. Check for the version first by going to settings then about and you will see your iphone version. Then go to you tube and search for how to edited link** and include the version. You will find step by step video that will guide you. Jailbreaking allows iphone users to fully enjoy third party apps. It allows the phone to be unlocked and therefore allows the users to choose the carrier. Many users prefer to risk jailbreaking iphone because of those reasons. Although it is considered safe and easy to do, in case your phone is damage through jailbreaking the warranty will be void.
