  1. How come T-mobile in US does not have 4G LTE but in UK it does????
  2. Howcome a plan in US is so expensive when 2000 minutes and unlimited texting and internet is only 36 euros or $46 USD??????????
  3. Whats the difference between 4G LTE (UK 4G) and 4G HSPA+ (US 4G)?

1) It doesn't because T-Mobile USA is one of the divisions that Deutsche Telekom is trying to get rid of. T-Mobile UK is farther superior than what we have here in the states. They get more support, and especially Everything Everywhere is helping that.

2) It's expensive because here in America, we're trying to get rid of unlimited plans. That plan must be a plan for 24 months, so you're paying less since you have a two year contract. I know in England they have a year contract also, and you have to pay more for that.

3) Difference between LTE and HSPA+ is that LTE is real 4G, versus HSPA+ is really 3G but at a faster velocity. Remember when the iPad came out and the whole fiasco about it not being 4G when actually it was HSPA+ and only worked in certain countries? That's part of it. Here in the US we use HSPA+ versus the other countries are using the standard LTE.

T-Mobile US isn't even on Deutsche Telekom's radar (T-Mobile's parent company). They see T-Mobile US depreciating and they just want to get rid of it. Remember when they wanted to sell T-Mobile to AT&T?

Nope. You'd have to dig deeper or talk with a rep to try to get a plan thats close to it.

You'd prefer LTE for the faster velocity. Big deal is that HSPA+ is being branded as 4G when it's not even 4G to begin with. As I said before HSPA+ is 3G but at a faster velocity.

oooooo I understand

Wait you can negotiate prices with reps?!?!?!?!?

What would be the difference thought like 3 mbps more or what? and is tmobile planning on changing to LTE or no?

No, I mean changing to LTE from HSPA+ is like changing to 3G from EDGE. It's LIGHTYEARS faster. Yes you could try to negotiate prices, and plans. They're there to help you and to milk you to stay with them.

They don't actually have a 4G network yet, but due to the fact the UK are investing in 4G networks currently, they are selling 4G ready phones.
