I've been a member of Youtube for 4 years, but have never uploaded videos until now. The videos I upload are HD on my computer, but the end up with VERY low resolution on Youtube. I'm using a Kodak Zi8, and my videos are under 10 mins. and less than 2 gigs. Anybody have an idea what I am doing wrong?

You need to give Youtube some time. As soon as the upload is done and you start viewing its not in HD because its not fully processed by Youtube. Give it some time, and check back later, and it will be in full HD.

Did you give time to render out the video? It takes time for YouTube to render HD video

Did you just watch the video when it was finished uploading? If so, then wait for it to finish processing, then watch it. It should take up to five hours for it to finish. Or you could try clicking to 480p, 720p, 1080p when it's done processing.
