Look at it, I just noticed that today that this looks super similar to the Facebook mobile layout. Do you think this is a ripoff of Facebook's layout?

Facebook wasn't even the first to implement this, calling it a ripoff is ludicrous, besides, nothing is original. Everything is just a recreation of something someone thought of or saw.

Good answer! Never really thought of it before. I saw this on an article on CNet so I just posted it here, lmfao.

In technology everything is a rip off of everything else. So yes and no is the answer

It's a menu. It's been around since the begining of time (well graphic webpages anyway!) How many different ways are there of making a list with icons?

I think Facebooks design was fine for when it started but its lack of any progress and or change is not doing it any favors.

I do prefer the G+ layout, for me it is more intuitive and less prone to glitching. subtle things like being able to past a URL in a URL specific field is a nice touch. Facebook STILL has not implemented this option.

Just my thoughts...

Duh! IMO fb is a role model website for web design professional, it is so well optimized with images, text, layout and speed. i love fb in that respect!

Also google design is "pathetic" that is just my opinion!
