So with the price of the Windows RT Surface being pretty much on par with the iPad, do you think that it costs too much to compete with Apple and win a share of the tablet market? If Apple does launch a budget iPad Mini won't that also draw focus (and customers) from Microsoft, and force Microsoft to cut the price of the Surface drastically in the coming months |

for a computer+tablet it is not overpriced however it is a badly planned product that can mature with time. It is indeed the future of computing as we know it however it ll take lot of hard work to make it establish in market |

It's average price for a tablet and is competitive with iPad prices. It all comes down to your personal OS preference when the price is similar. |

Surface prices are announced? I thought that just the Windows RT/8 tablets were announced by other companies, ranging from like $399 - $1299. Personally the windows 8 tablets are not really over priced. You can do more with a Windows 8 tablet than an iPad, because with them, there is a full operating system build inside. iOS is not a full desktop operating system, therefore, can't do a lot of the things that a full operating system can do. At least as well like professional software. |

No it is well acceptable. It is evenly price with the iPad and it is looking to be an excellent device. Great, big screen, great looking specs, it has a couple of ports that the iPad itself doesn't have. The experience is still be to determined however. We shall see with Chris' review. :) |
