Broken iPad

When I press the button to turn my iPad the Apple logo comes up but instead of completely turning on the iPad just shows the logo forever, and will not fully turn on.

Any ideas as to how to fix this problem? Also when I connect it to my computer, the computer does not recognize it. Please help!

Try putting it into Recovery mode and reinstalling iOS, if that fails take it to an Apple Store

(If you jailbroke it you have voided your warranty)
