We have a small issue with our network in the office. We have around 30 computers connected to the network and some of them disconnect various times around the day. It is starting to get very annoying. Here is the setup. We have the modem connecting to a small unmanaged switch which distributes to 1) DVR and 1) router. The DVR has to have its own IP address. and the Router also has its own IP. The router connects to a bigger business switch which then connects to all 30 devices. The router is a home style router that is very good but i believe might be causing the issue. I am unsure of this but i think. Like i said before around 7 computers disconnect from the internet and have to wait about 3-5 min to connect again. Can anyone help me to find out what i can do?

Need more info, i know its an old thread so most likely sorted by now, but for anyone else reading with similar problem, isolate what is happening when network "drops" what is used as the DHCP server cheap home router? or business switch? may be worth getting the managed business switch to act as DHCP if it supports it...
