I just purchased a new Mac mini base model ( Fall 2012 ), but I can't seem to find a good monitor for it. I guess I'm used to the 27in iMac display. For some reason my text seems kind of blocky or fuzzy, sometimes after using it for a few hours the monitor turns off for a few seconds and automatically turns back on. Right know is not in my budget to pay for an Apple Display. Right now I'm using Acer S271HL, which is ok for now....So my question is there a good display that measures up to the Apple Display without paying the big bucks? I've been thinking about the Samsung S27B550V. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm not sure how many inch you're looking for, so I'll base it off the 27" iMac screen you tried. I am currently using this with my Mac Pro and it is working just fine. Though the price can be a bit steep. So I came prepared! Here is one that's a lot cheaper but still an awesome screen, this is used by my friend for his stock monitoring. So it's real affordable since my friend was able to get like 10 of these. Hope I helped!

Cheers!
