From your geek perspective; which you prefer more? The iPhone 5 or Galaxy Note 2? |
|
The note 2. Mainly because you don't have to jailbreak it to customise the OS. The bigger screen is easier to work with. Android and iOS are equally good platforms I just prefer the extra control Android offers |
|
Note II. Purely because imo Android offers a far superior user experience. |

To be honest I like the Galaxy Note 2 a lot and am not a fan of Apple as a company. However, I am considering buying the iPhone 5 in a few months and even though it is not as customization, I already have the Android experience on a Samsung Captivate Glide and a HP Touchpad that have CM 9 on it. i like the Android widgets however, for a main phone I think I would prefer something like my 4th generation iPod Touch running iOS. I already have a lot of money invested into apps and that is something I did not take into account with the Touchpad and the Samsung phone. So for me it is down to my situation. However, i also feel that the Note 2 is just a bit ridiculous because I actually still make phone calls with my phone on a at least one call a day basis. Sometimes like 10 calls and holding a Note 2 to my ear feels ridiculous. |

I'd take the Note 2, for my simple reason being that I have T-Mobile and I want my 4G. If the iPhone supported it, I still wouldn't take it because I just don't like iPhones anymore. I don't like being on stock, even though you can jailbreak it still. |

If the phone is for you, a geek, Note 2 it is. If it is for your kid or mom or grandma, iPhone it is. |
