According to that link, Disney has just bought Lucasfilm for $4 billion. This means that they're in charge of the next Star Wars movies, and franchises. What do you guys think? Did they make the right move or is Lucasfilm in for a big surprise?

It could be either great, or they milk the francaise and then starwars becomes a thing that used to be great, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Well, one could argue that Lucas himself kinda killed Star Wars already with the prequels.

Disney has proved to put out great movies time and time again. Let's not forget they also own Marvel. I have no doubt in my mind that this will be the best thing for Star Wars. For the people that say Disney will ruin Star Wars I think George Lucas already beat them to it. George Lucas has the worst sense of humor, never forget Jar Jar Binks.

I cannot wait till episode 7, 8, and 9. This will also give the cos-play community even more people to impersonate.
