3	Well, they're called Dr because they have a Ph.D. You can be a Doctor of any subject really. Programmers/Tech Experts wouldn't have a title unless said person had a degree of some sort. answered Nov 02 '12 at 08:34 Mattophobia ♦♦ 7.0k●73●122●206
