Hi y'all.

Since the 32GB Nexus 7 came out, I wanted to buy one. I chose to go to other stores like Future Shop or Best Buy, but check online first.

To my disappointment, the Nexus 7 is a lot cheaper on the Play Store! It is 239.99$ (16GB model) at Future Shop and BestBuy, but only 209.99$ on the Play Store. I don't understand to be honest...

Thanks for any replies!

I wouldn't complain, just get it where it's cheapest! It's likely because it's google's product and they can offer it cheaper as they don't have any extra costs to pay originally. I know here in the UK it's the same price everywhere.

Google wants to make it attractive to consumers looking for a good deal so offer it cheaper than other stores. The price will be changed by sellers as demand fluctuates. If a store thinks they can make a few more bucks charging more that's what they'll do

Well on Google play it is $249.99. It might be because you are buying it straight from Google. You are probably best getting it where it is cheaper like at a local store, because Google will be adding on Tax and shipping so it will probably come out to about $300.
