Everything is fine and the size is 2000x1200 and is about 900kb. But when I upload it you cannot see a lot of the background unless you zoom out. Here: http://www.youtube.com/user/DcoltGaming?feature=mhee How can I resolve this? |

Since you are dealing with a wide range of screen resolutions, many professional productions stick with a largely flat background image that can have a very small file size and only use a few details that is around width of the youtube UI for example https://www.youtube.com/user/DTOID and https://www.youtube.com/user/JaredPolin also be sure to check the analytics on your channel, remember, mobile data is expensive, don't make your users download more data than needed. Also, if you are on a desktop with a resolution higher than 1366x768, then set your resolution to that, then with the browser window not maximized, resize the window to fill the screen, then adjust your monitor back to it's native resolution, then make sure the page looks the way you want it at that resolution. (With many sites, you are likely to get users running their displays at 1366x or less in some cases, you need to tailor the background to fit those displays. (it can be difficult handling a wide range of resolutions which is why many people go with a flat background or a gradient) |

That's a wide screen template. To all of the people with widescreen monitors (a lot) your page looks pretty sweet.
