A friend mentioned this to me when i was talking about getting contacts, pretty cool artificial implants have been developed that will give the user better than 20/20 vision in other words high definition vision making everything sharper and perhaps even make colours more vibrant. I've considered getting laser eye surgery for some time but i'm dubious about the safety of it and the long term effects. Considering it's only been around a couple decades no one actually know if there'll be degradation later in life but i think i'm approaching the age where i'd be willing to take that kind of risk at least, still unsure about the whole laser being shit into my eye etc. But i would go for one of these artificial implants, it's one thing to get laser eye surgery to correct your vision but to enhance it beyond our natural limits that could make you see things in a whole new light would be just too good to pass up, how about you? |

I probably wouldn't get these just yet. These sound really good, but no-one really knows of the side effects, which will be caused to human health, and also there are bound to be several risks associated with installing these. However, I would say in the future, a majority of the bugs will have been ironed out which will mean that there will be fewer risks involved. I would certainly think about getting these in the future, but at the moment, probably not. |
