  • Comfortable
  • Good Highs/Lows depending on what you listen to, You want good highs if you like Rock, Pop, Country and you want good Lows if you like Hip-Hop/Rap
  • Frequency

Also if they're LOUD. Sometimes some headphones can be very quiet, so you have to see the reviews if people give it a good consensus.

Sony makes really good headphones for under $50 along with Sennheiser.

Look for comfort, highs which don't make your ears bleed and lows which don't distort sound.

Audio listening devices have no clear cut "spec" which are good. All of them will say 18 to 20K frequnecy. The best way to get an idea of which ones you like is to just go buy them, try them and return them if you do not like them.
