What do you think the top five movies of 2012 are? |
I have not ordered them by favourite because I find it too hard! They were all so good! Chronicle is also worth a mention. I'd probably have the same exact list. However I'm seeing Lincoln tomorrow, and I'm hoping it'll knock Prometheus off the list. Daniel Day Lewis is a beast. And I'm super excited for The Hobbit too. Going to the midnight premiere! @sfrancis928 how was Lincoln? I liked it a lot. There were some things I didn't like so much, but Daniel Day-Lewis killed it as usual, and he really made the movie. The ending kinda felt forced. It seemed like they said, "Okay, we have to put the assassination in here, so let's get it over with." It just wasn't very powerful. I also had a slight issue with the aesthetic of the film. It looked more "pretty" than realistic, with perfect contrast, color, and studio lighting. This works for lots of films, but not as much for historic ones like this. At times I felt more like I was watching a stage act than real events, despite Day-Lewis's performance. It could be compared to Glory, which looks more gritty and realistic, like the things you are seeing are actually happening. I guess you could call that nitpicking though. But overall, I did enjoy it. |

The Hunger Games,The Dark Knight Rises, and 3 others. :D |
The Hunger games had some very boring and stupid parts in it. I didn't like it at much. It went on for to long and dragged the story to long. It was to boring to be a top movie of 2012. And did you forget the movie Life of PI or did any of you think it wasn't that good? |
