Apple's warranty is limited by the country of purchase. So if he HAS to take it to an Apple store and needs a repair, he'd have to fly here to fix it. Sucks :/

EhhhI usually just refer to the Apple Store when Apple questions come around. I so used to having one 25-30 minutes away from me. They need to expand!
