I deleted my windows partition off my HDD but I am unable to get the space back even though it's supposed to be empty, I used the bootcamp assistant to get rid of the Windows partition but its seems it didn't get the job correctly and now it only gives me the option to install Windows again. And Disk Utility isn't working (Pic attached) Any OSX Mountain Lion experts in here? |

Nevermind, got it, here's the solution in case someone has the same issue and is looking for the answer: 1)Reboot the Mac into Single User Mode by holding Command+S during boot 2)At the command prompt, type:
3)When fsck is complete, type “exit” or “reboot” to reboot 4)Boot the Mac as usual, verify the disk again in Disk Utility, and partition as usual Sorry, I guess I wasn't using the right term on google. |
