Hey guys, A while back I asked about whether I should get the Nexus 4 over the iPhone 5. I have given it some thought and from the title of the question, you would've guessed it, I've decided to get the Nexus 4. The problem is this, it's sold out. I'm not in the US but it would be wiser to buy it from the US and bring it down to Indonesia. I have a few options here, either wait for stock on the Google Play store and have my friend get it for me, pay premium from the US at overall around US$400-$500, or wait for the Nexus 4 to come to Indonesia which, will come at around US$570++. Buying it in Indonesia is already the same as to buying premium from the US. In Indonesia, a Samsung Galaxy S3 is almost of that price, say difference of $40-$50 (Just saying). Should I pay premium or wait for stock? *Premium meaning getting it on eBay and higher prices |

Obviously you could pay extra and get it right now. Or you could wait until it comes back into stock in the U.S. (It'll probably do that before it comes to Indonesia). Really it's a matter of, is not waiting worth an extra $100-200 to you. If you're foaming at the mouth to get this thing, and you have the extra money you can get it. If you'd rather wait (what I'd likely do) you'll obviously have to be patient. Luckily for you, you're not the only one who wants it. A friend of mine wrote a webapp to email people when the Nexus 4 comes back in stock. If you're interested it's located here for the 8GB model, and here for the 16GB model. Again, I can vouch for the authenticity of this. If you're still unsure, use a throwaway email address. |
