I recently got an MSI Windpad 110W, running windows 8. Runs great, Only real issue is when i have a USB Keyboard plugged in, the on screen always comes up and obstructs my view. Is there any way to disable it while the keyboard is plugged in? I read something about disabling it altogether, but i don't want that because obviously i still need it when the physical keyboard isn't easily accessible.
Any help appreciated, thanks.

I think the assumption is that you'll use one or the other but not both. Don't forget that W8 is still work in progress so this may be dealt with in the release edition but I suspect you'll have to wait for someone to come up with a detection script/program if you want the selection to be automatic.

there is, but only when you don't need it. every time i tap a text box, regardless of whether or not its plugged in, it appears all by itself. which is quite annoying, but once i start typing it goes away.
