I am new to Windows 8 and I have an HP g72 b62us laptop that came with Windows 7 Home. I was wondering if I can upgrade to Windows 8 and will it load all the drivers including the wireless card and webcam drivers?

download the upgrade assistant, install, and run it. It will tell you what you need if anything

Usually all your drivers will come on the disk, but do what @trueb said and run the upgrade assistant. If you're getting the upgrade from Microsoft (the $15 version), it does it for you before you even download and buy Windows 8.

Hi, I recently upgraded from win 7 to 8, i had to install ALL drivers all over again. It wasn't that much work though, it took me about a day to install ALL drivers :P But i think that is because i have chosen for a clean install :P if you choose to keep all apps it probably takes the drivers with it :D

I don't know what unusual setup you may be using but there should be almost no drivers to install, and will be almost none, on almost every system.

I had to install one driver (a display card driver) on my clean install from Windows 7 on my custom-built desktop. I mention that it's custom only to further prove the point that it will work with almost every piece of hardware out there right out of the box.

I've had a lot of luck with Windows 8 so far, Bob. Installed an old graphics card made for Windows XP/Vista/7, a brand of wireless adapter I'd never heard of before reading its reviews on Amazon (and these reviews for pre-8 versions of Windows). No problems whatsoever. (Knock on wood -- and I will curse you if simply stating all my good luck jinxes me, Robert!!!)
