I'm willing to pay for an experience I find valuable. I just subscribed for a year to Live365's VIP listener membership for two reasons:

1) to keep supporting a service I find valuable 2) to be able to access stations (even my own) that can only be listened to by subscribers 3) so that I wouldn't have to suffer the ads

I'm passionate about a few things in my life, storytelling being one of them. Music, for me, is an experience of storytelling. The music I love best provides a soundtrack that moves from the background to the foreground of my attention when it truly engages me, and that's either because either the music itself is moving me or the combination of lyrics and music are. I am disengaged from this experience when I hear an advertisement offering, say, a deal on domain names.

Yes I would pay for experience. Why would I go cheap for something that will actually end up just making me mad therefore giving me a bad experience? I like to have a good experience when I am using anything.

I always do in one way or another. I find that I even work to promote them.

Exactly. I find myself promoting a service I simply want to succeed.
