What in the world is Geekli.st and how should I use it?

So at some point this year I signed up for Geekli.st but now I don't remember what prompted me to do so and why I should do with my account. I get emails from Geekli.st every day, and all I usually do is delete it.

Before I cancel my account, are any of you familiar with Geekli.st? If so, how would you recommend that I should be using it?
