wifi enabled cameras are mostly gimmicks as the wireless function is often slow and also ensures that you pay a lot of money and still get a mostly plastic camera body.

If your main focus is low light and image quality then stick with a decent canon powershot and check if CHDK is available for it. http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK

The HS series of the powershots offer decent low light (generally with around 70-100 watts of room lighting, you can use a shutter speed of 1/15 at ISO 100 which is okay for still objects and people who are not running around. At ISO 400 you can get around 1/25 shutter speed and at ISO 800 you can get around 1/50 second shutter speed (above ISO 800 is bad for pretty much all point and shoot cameras)

Do not spend more than $200 for a point and shoot, if you can afford to go over $200 then just save up a little longer and get a decent DSLR, eg you can get a Canon T2i (even with the kit lens, it will beat ant standard point and shoot camera currently on the market.

PS you can extend your low light support by enabling camera raw using CHDK if you have a point and shoot.

For example, here are 2 images taken with an old canon powershot A560 I used CHDK to enable camera raw then took an underexposed image, then corrected for it using adobe camera raw by cranking up the exposure slider and correcting the white balance which is needed when working with camera raw.
