My brother's birthday is coming up soon and i could do with some help finding him a gift but something practical that he'll use while he works. He Dj's at night as well as running two small businesses during the day, he's also a musician playing multiple instruments but primarily the bass & electric guitar so i'd like to find him something he can use during his DJ work or something he'd find handy when playing in his band. I'll be getting him a pair of new headphones for Christmas so that's covered but yeah, something practical a DJ can use to improve the quality of his work or just makes things easier and fun :) He DJ's with a laptop so a record bag wouldn't be useful |

i won a bet on the boxing last night so i used the cash to buy him the Sennheiser Hd 215 as they're a good all round headphone for a DJ at a price i can afford especially after last night lol cheers for the help i know he'll be thrilled with it as his current pair are pretty cheap and he's had to glue part of them together at least twice, so this will be a step up lol |

Maybe a iTunes gift card that way he can get apps if he has a iPod or iPhone such as the ikaosolator or purchase music he could use to DJ. |

Extra XLR cable, it is a simple gift but you can never have enough of them, especially if you move the mics around a lot. Or if you want something that is pretty much universal for almost everyone on earth, then go with a decent external or internal hard drive (you can get a nice 1TB for around $50, they could use it for backup, or if you know which hard drive is in their system, then get an extra one and get them on a raid 1 for extra data security/ redundancy and improved read speeds. going with audio processing equipment is also great but you generally have to own a few cartels and oil companies to have the extra cash to get someone higher end audio equipment. |
