Hey LockerGnome community,

I would like to play some old fashioned goodness -- Mario, Pokemon, Zelda and so on -- on my iPhone.

I have been searching a bit but I cannot find any emulators that do not require you to jailbreak your device. Have any of you found a working emulator in the App Store?

PS: I am aware that downloading ROMs is illegal if you do not have physical cartridges.

There aren't any. You would have to jailbreak to use an emulator.

Apple has very strict guidelines as to what they allow in the App Store. Since emulators and ROMs can be very touchy in terms of legality, there aren't any in the App Store (although I think one slipped through once, but I think it's gone now).

Apple and emulators don't go together unless you Jailbreak. Once you jailbreak you are free to do what you want
