Hi chaps, seems like you have given the boot to the world's favorite discussion platform.

How come?

Single sing on for discussions makes SO much sense. Why get rid of a good thing?

DISQUS was never on this site. What Lockergnome site are you referring to?

I think he's talking about Lockergnome.com. They used to use Disqus, or I might be mistaken.

Here is his reply :

Chris Pirillo: I do believe that Craighton Miller took it down on my direction. DISQUS was too buggy.

Craighton Miller: We're trying a new commenting system LiveFyre.

This is the new commenting system they will be using for now as chris says....

Chris Pirillo Yeah, if I don't like LiveFyre, I may very well switch to Facebook to see if that drives up traffic back to the articles.

Hope this answers your question :)

Cool thanks :) It just seems like a backwards move, that's why I ask.

OK, I think we are getting close to an answer here.

Lockergnome now seems to be using Livefyre, whereas earlier on today it was asking users to create an account. Perhaps it was being migrated.
