Tablet I should get for Christmas

I was wondering what tablet I should recommend for a gift idea. What tablet, not including the iPad, should I get? Maybe the Kindle Fire HD, or the Nexus 10, or some other one? Which tablet would be better for playing games fast and surfing the web? Recommend any tablet for the price. Which other ones might be good? Thanks

Note: This is a tablet I'm gonna recommend my parents to get me. My price range is $200 to $500.

What's your price? Since you listed the iPad, I assume it's $500 (at least).

Since you already have an iPhone, I assume that you've invested into Apple's ecosystem. If you haven't spent any money on apps, than you don't have to worry about the extra costs associated with switching platforms.

Well, for $200-500, I'm pushing the Nexus 10 to you ALL the way. Or, if you want more of a phone/tablet combo or "phablet", the Note 2 is the best in the category.

0	Easily the Nexus 10, you might consider the note 10.1 if you want the S-Pen. From what i heard thought the Nexus 10 is alot better and i just got mine and it's amazing. answered Dec 04 '12 at 23:09 Fr8cture 1
