My questions regarding this are:

How would I go about hosting a private server for Open Arena?

Would there be a way to set a server so people would have to be let in by the administrator? (In like to a front door where the guest rings a doorbell and the owner decides to let them in or not.)

-If I was to charge for tournaments, would I have to ask the developers for permission. (..or ask them for permission for anything else that I am not thinking of?)

Please let me know!

I like Open Arena too. A good place to find out is in the official forum.
