Apple Smart Case or Smart Cover?

Im planning on getting the iPad 4 and either the Smart Case or Smart Cover. First off, how well does the back of the iPad stand up to scratches. I only plan using it at hom and not "throwing" it around. Probably end up keeping it on the stand next to my bed which is smooth wood. I personally would rather get the cover but before I choose I would like to know if that is a good idea or if I should get the case. I dont want to get any 3rd party back cases to go with the cover do to price. I would rather spend $10 extra and get the smart case then to spend $25+ on a seperate back. Do you think I could just get the cover and again how well does the back stand up to scratches? Your own personal opinion is also appreciated.

0	the Smart cover creates some kind of smudges and gets pretty dirty, the smart caes is better since it doesnt preassure in the iPad (in my case I have a Screen Protector and all rd party Cases try to lift it up answered Dec 05 '12 at 22:35 Juancastim135 400●29●37●43
