Why won't YouTube stop changing its layout?

Let's be honest: the new YouTube absolutely sucks. I want the newest in my subs every day, but now the homepage is a cluttered mess of recommended videos. To add insult to injury, it doesn't expand to your browser's size that well, either. So why do the people in charge keep changing it? I'd much prefer the old YouTube; it wasn't stellar, but it was far better than this. Additionally, what do you think of the new YouTube? Do you think it's terrible, or do you love it?

I love the new design. I do agree with the white being too much...maybe if they opted to make the white a sort of light grey or something... Anyways, change is good! I know I for sure wouldn't want to be stuck using sticks and stones hunting animals for food still! ;)

I like the new design, just not the user friendliness... The only reason I created a Youtube account is to follow the videos from the people I'm subscribed to and now on the homepage only 1 in 5 freaking videos is actually a new video from the people I'm subscribed to! I have to go to two separate pages just to get the videos I want which just blows my mind! I can not see how they would take away the only feature that got me to create an account in the first place, I even think their selling out towards their partners like Machinima and IGN by these changes to the homepage! Also the website now being left aligned is noobish and just plain dumb! What website these days doesn't center align their content?

Oh and to answer your actual question, They need their designers and developers to have something to do and not fire them, that's the only reason they have!
