[closed] Best Antivirus Software?

My ESET Smart Security licenses will be expiring soon (I also run Malwarebytes PRO). But before purchasing new licenses, I would like to know if there is currently anything better than ESET.

In the past I have tried AVG, Avast, Norton and Windows Security Essentials. But my preferred choice has always been ESET for the simple fact that it's always scanning in the background without degrading system performance.

How does Bitdefender and Kaspersky compare?

What is the best Antivirus software as of this year for Windows 7, personal and small business?
