On my grandmother's computer, every time it pops up, it says, "ieframe.dll/acr_error.htm" and it wont go away. I tried many things. Starting it without add-ons, starting it in administration mode, running troubleshoot, the basics. It didn't fix. Though it works from the tile menu when we launch it that way. The desktop one just doesn't work. And my grandmother is too stubborn to just use it from the tiles even though that one is working, and wants me to fix it. I'm doing everything I can, but it's not working. Right now there is a scan running, so I have time to post this. Anyone have any options? Please save me from being stuck working on her computer for /another/ two hours! >< SOLVED!: I'm not sure if it was the direct cause, but I uninstalled an addon she had for "Dekstop Mode" called Pokki. It was a Start Menu add-on basically. Took that out, and suddenly it works again. |
