Firewire Video Camera Steaming to iMac

Hey Guys,

Our church just bought a 27" iMac in hopes to do live feed recording (straight from camera to iMovie) without having the need to download the content or "import" it. The issue is, we never realized we couldn't do this over USB.. too slow I'm guessing, and our Camera does NOT have firewire..

We are having a hard time finding a camera that has firewire that we can live stream with into iMovie that is relatively cheap.. It would be great to find one between $200-500.

Can you PLEASE shed some light, and let me know if there is an easier way, or can you recommend a camera that is capable of doing what we are looking for ? We need to capture both Video and Audio through this method.
