I began using the latest Internet Explorer, and since I don't typically use IE as my main browser, I'm tempted to skip installing Flash. Has anyone been able to get along without Flash? |
I live on my iPad and iPhone and I can say that I haven't really missed flash all that much. But of course when I'm on my Mac then pretty much all sites revert back to flash. Absolutely the future is without flash because the web can be built on HTML 5 and without flash. Just spend some time on an iOS device. Now of course that depends on what sites you go to, but most have mobile sites that accommodate devices without flash. |

Well it would be impossible for me. My school uses flash on almost every page so I'd really need it or I'd have a terrible time trying to upload my assignments. A few years down the road yes I don't think we'll need Flash Player. |
I could live without Flash, if only Youtube would switch to HTML5. That's the only thing I use flash for. My school uses Silverlight, which sucks even more than Flash. |
I can't. I use TinyChat which is a flash based chatsite. If they switched to HTML5 then yes, I would live without it. I use it everyday, and it's vital for me. I'd be so mad if Flash wasn't supported anymore.

Short awnser: No Long awnser: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo HTML5 still needs to make its real entrance, i'd love to throw Flash overboard both on my PC and the company network but that will have to happen in due time. I'm not jumping the gun on it which would only make this uncorfortable for no real reason. |

No way. Flash is everything. Definitely need that. |

Good News! You dont have you install flash, IE supports flash all by its self now, no need to install it anymore... and yes you can live without out, I suppose you can also live without a computer too. |
But have to go back to my pc just to play a flash game as you can not do on the ipad and sometime I look at web pages that have flash videos that not hosted on YouTube. |
I would like to believe that I don't need flash, but alas that is untrue... |
