Do I need to create any account to use Windows 8 Phone?

For any Android phone, you will need to create a Google account to use and utilize the phone to the fullest. Is this the same for Windows Phone(7, 7.5, and 8)?

I already have a Google account and a android device. I just wanted to experience something different and to see what Windows Phone is like. I guess i should stay with Android for less hassle? Also, if I get a Windows Phone 7 or 7.5, will it be upgradable to Windows 8?

No idea on the upgrade, probably, but just make another account... if you get one, I already have an account with just about every service, not like you got to pay.
