I have an Android phone and a iPad. I am able to use most of the functions of both these devices in an integrated way using Gmail, Google Calendar etc. I have 'Mute-O-Matic' to automatically mute my Android phone when I have set up an event in my Gmail calendar and also my Google Apps for Business (GAfB) Calendar. My Android phone works very well. I am able to use Google Drive on my iPad, I can read and respond to my Gmail and GAfB emails on my iPad. But I am yet to find an equivalent of Mute-O-Matic for use on iPad. I want my iPad to go silent when I am supposed to be in a meeting or in a seminar etc - my Android phone can do this but why can't my iPad do the same? Did several searches on Apple App Store for a suitable app and AutoSilent seems to be the only app which claims to do that. I paid the money and bought it - but the software does not seem to work at all and going by the status on the developer's website, the developer may very well have abandoned any development on this - the website puts system requirement as iOS 4 - but my iPad now runs 6. Any suggestions? |
