If you are looking for a web 2.0 blog, blogger and WordPress are both great solutions. If your looking to host your own I would recommend you install the self-host version of WordPress.

I would agree blogger from Google is one of two places that I would suggest if you are looking into something like that or Wordpress. Either one are good for what you might want to add into your youtube add on's there.

weebly works and has a blog feature built in. I also use blogger, and find it just a tad easier, but weebly definitely has more customization. Also with blogger you can do mobile blog posts and they have an excellent iPhone app.
