Yesterday I purchased a Dell Inspiron 17.3 inch laptop. It has 8Gb of RAM, An i7 quad-core processor that clocks up to 3.4ghz, and an Nvidia GT 650 GPU with 2GB of video memory. By the way, it has backlit keyboard. How long will it last for current gaming. I'd think 2 years. Possibly 3 but most likely not. Also, I would like to play with decent graphics. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+Inspiron+17.3%26%2334%3B+Laptop+-+8GB+Memory+-+1TB+Hard+Drive+-+Black/6697664.p?id=1218782849014&skuId=6697664&st=dell%20i17rse&cp=1&lp=1#tab=specifications

This laptop will surely help u get started with Crysis 3 and also GTA 5 if its launching anywhere in fall of 2013 for PC. It depends on how much you push your laptop for gaming. I personally suggest people to go for Desktop PC when it comes to gaming. Laptop is not much of a lucrative option when it comes to gaming. Some or the other problem arises due to overheat.

And coming to Long lasting. I would say 2 years you can play games with full swing.. maybe after dat you will have to lower the graphics on the games.

Thanks so much. I appreciate the input and that answer seems logical. This is good with ventilation. I have it on a desk. Will not put it on lap or cloth ever. I don't like torturing computers. I think it MIGHT last 3 years. Not entirely sure.
